Watchful Wednesday

Well…. Now both of our pawrents have left us behind while they visit the Windy City while attending a relative’s wedding.
*sigh*
We’ll just wait here for them and keep watch on the house. Hopefully our friend taking care of us will take us out to be chick magnets at some point.

Sunday (No) Funday

Why aren’t you letting us chase the birds today, Ma? What do you mean by the Snowy Plover being a protected species? We’re not going to eat them, just chase them. We have to wait until when? Next May?! That’s a long time to not chase birds at the beach!!!

Flashback Friday: Puppy Scribble’s First Staycation

Flashback Friday: July 2010 : Puppy Scribble’s first stay with us

We think Joules would hide under the dining chairs so Scribble couldn’t get to bug her, but it obviously was not much of a obstacle for the energetic, non-stop licking pup!

Scribble loved to be in Joules’ bed, even if Joules was in Scribble’s bed, thus the beginning of “Musical Beds.”

Sunday Funday

We went to the Dahlia Show in Golden Gate Park. Of course, we had to wait outside while Auntie T and mom took turns checking out the winning entries, so instead we chased a squirrel and guarded the tree it was in to pass the time. Then we walked over to the Dahlia Dell a short distance away and got to enjoy the flowers ourselves. We even meet some Viszla furiends who tried to eat some blooms through the fence. BOL!

We couldn’t believe our eyes & ears!

It actually rained last night! During our walk, we started to hear the beginnings of rain coming down. In August! So we ran to wait under a tree, and, sure enough, after just a minute, the rain stopped.

Guess the weatherman was actually right about a "chance of thunderstorms" passing from off the coast of Baja California up through the Bay Area!

Schnauzer Sighting

So… our Pawps left for Geneva with out us, but promised to bring back some kind of goodies. Maybe even a "Swiss Mountain Rescue Dog" vest if he has time to look for them! Or, at least a whiskey barrel for snow rescues or some venison treats. While delayed at the airport SIX HOURS (once again, thanks for being consistently unreliable, United Airlines!!), our Pawps spotted a spoiled schnauzer and thought of us. Faces have been hidden for security reasons.
